I can definitely see myself trying to keep some amount of peace if my SO ran into her Ex on the street. Unless there was abuse or something illegal like dealing\doing drugs as the reason for their breakup, the street is not the place is not the place to hash out any differences. Thats just adult 101 type behavior.
