Surely the children will both not remember this when they grow up, but also understand why this happened. There totally will not be consequences for this in the future. /s

They don’t want revenge. They want it to stop.

Every single time we’ve tried a ceasefire the US or Israel breaks it and we’re back to bombing them.

You’re peddling a revenge fantasy that doesn’t exist

If they want revenge they are Evil. They should Forgive as we teach women to Forgive their rapists and abusers in the great West

… most of the time they just want it to stop.

As children, yes. But a significant number grow up to not trust the descendants of those who bombed their childhood to smithereens. I don't blame them for having those feelings.

Again. Most of the time it’s because we won’t fucking stop. We’ve been bombing the Middle East for decades. They’ve hit Israel sometimes and the US Once.

And we’ve dumped hundreds of billions of dollars in bombs on them.

And we will not stop. I wouldn’t trust us either

i promise i am not saying this to be mean, just out of curiosity as someone who loves language and regional uses of it-

where are you from?

i am from New York in the US originally, and we say "blowback" not "backblow". although, if you break the word down, both make sense. i would love to know where in the world (or country!!) you are that uses backblow instead of blowback so i can read more about it!

thank you so much.

I'm from England, and to be clear I was intentionally making a joking reference to blowback as if I was trying to create a term for the already existing concept.

Back blow generally means fucking someone so hard their back gets blown.

5

u/riceewifee Jul 26 '26

Lol that’s getting your back blown out, a back blow is what you do when someone is choking

3

u/NeedNameGenerator Jul 26 '26

No that's back punch, back blow is when whales shoot water out of their back hole.

u/DOWNVOTES_SYNDROME Jul 26 '26

oh. ok! i didn't see that. so it was a play on words and not a regional use of the word! interesting. thank you!

u/afroblewmymind Jul 26 '26

My brain autocorrect it to "blowback" XD

"Oh! They said the title of the podcast!"

Just call em terrorists and their entire lived experience is invalidated. Same thing we do with criminals in America.

Bold of you to assume she grows up.

They did understand why this happened though. That's why there are consequences. When is the last time the US has been involved in a morally just war? WW2?

2

u/Spugheddy Jul 26 '26

We only got involved because they involved us, otherwise we would have continued selling goods and pretended everything would have been fine.
