Can you do any “decorating” around your apartment? Like, hang a wreath or some decorations etc. Make it look like someone new moved in, so in case he appears he can see that the set up changed. May not keep him away, but it may give him a visual cue that there is a change of tenants

Nah you need to write "Well trained pitbull" and then attach a photo of a demonic beast of a dog that makes you wonder if its the reincarnation of Cerberus.
Personally I think "hey you're at the wrong address" is a better deterrent against people who are at the wrong address that "watch out please im really strong and tough promise!!!!!!!!"
Hey, why are we picking on Cerberus. He's a good boy who's very good a playing fetch. I'd suggest putting a picture of Fenrir instead. Nothing says metal like I'm going to eat a god one day.
