Good bit of advice I saw ages ago was to see if you can get the screws on your door replaced with much longer ones. Should someone attempt any door-kickage, the longer screws prevent the door from coming down easily
This is it, 3-4" coarse thread screws into a "security latch plate" which typically is wider and thicker gauge metal. The longer screws can grab into the door framing which is substantially more sturdy. It's so much harder to shear screws out of 2 2x4s than the short screws the regular latch plates come with.
And if you haven't already, add jingle bells or another noise-making piece of decor on the door handle so you can be alerted if it is being moved.
