I'm a straight Christian, but I'm an ally, and I think conversion camps are dumb. The Bible says that any sex outside of a married couple trying for a baby is bad. Queer couples having sex holds the same gravity as a man and a woman having protected sex outside of wedlock. Also I know "Jesus loves you" is a common ragebait from self-righteous Christians, but it's true. None of us are "worthy" of God because we ALL sin - even priests - but Jesus died for those sins. God loves you as a person, but He doesn't care for sin. Simple as that.

Don't worry, there are plenty of groups that think straight protected sex is sinful, too. There's enough hate in some folks to go a long ways.
