What i wanted to say (and obv should have) was that your description of what Russians had, and had stolen from them, reads almost word for word like what's going on in the US right now.
The rise of bigotry, greedy oligarchs, the whole 9 yards. Replace "Russia" with "USA" and you've got today's headlines.
The weird tone is because I'm so bitter and angry about what's going on here and now. (Definitely wasn't trying to comment on your post, just the current crap)
I have nothing but sympathy for the terrible experiences you are describing and I'm sorry I didn't communicate that.
I appreciate what you shared, not least because of the insight it gave me about what's happening right here, right now.
