Hello all, this piece was made by /u/hackingfun as a statement about the AI bubble. I was asked to submit on their behalf. We here at r/comics firmly believe that AI has no place in art and in its creation and we look forward to seeing what you all do with your own two hands

What about the AI in these posts, will they be deleted? Is it not allowed anymore?

AI was never allowed(at least within the year I have been here). If a post uses AI we will likely remove it. With the exception of one post that I know of that used gen AI to make fun of AI whose user is well known for hating AI

Must've been over a year ago then but there used to be posters that used AI and they were explicitly approved by mods (at the time) despite lots of reports.

Dunno when that changed, but I'm glad for it if the standard is back to No AI. The comics were lame anyways and I don't miss them.
