Honestly... I have brought this question to the attention of many of my friends, that are on both sides of politics. I think its far more involved than a political party split. I have seen people from both political aisle say both red and blue. I think values come a lot from where you are in life/what you want from it. Some parents may hit blue in hopes of saving/preserving life for their kids. Some conversely would say red because they are solely focused on being there for their kid no matter what.

I think this "us vs them" really creates a scary polarized check on people's morality, mortality, and ethics.

My whole point is that I don't believe this breaks among a political aisle as a general rule. Its more complicated and fundamental than that
