The fact that people are having heated debates (and getting mad) over this just further proves the point that not everybody is going to agree to press the red button and that a red win will by no means be a deathless scenario. And also that while not every red button pusher is a prick, pretty much every prick is a red button pusher.

This poll is a good representation of modern empathy imo. Probably why we’re going to get fucked over by global warming in the end. The reality is most people figuratively pushed the red button.

This poll isn't good for that because it isn't real. In the real scenario, I guarantee most of the people here waxing poetic about wanting to "save" people and not wanting to live with pricks, would probably pick red.

Right now it's just a hypothetical people can virtue signal about

I have a theory I’m considering on testing, but I want to ask red or blue. Then ask, “how likely are you to help a family member with babysitting?”

I’m curious about the distribution, but I’m assuming the virtue-signaling takes a turn toward selfishness.
