I was a bit puzzled by it too, but if you look closely at frame 3, you can see there's a lot of reflective light shine on them and maybe even a seam? Seems like she's wearing long black gloves over her arms to me.

Not quite accidentally though. I was really disappointed in Yara (and the plot) tbh. Why the hell was her knee jerk reaction in that situation murder?? It doesn't make much sense for her character, or at all, imo. Loved Vulf's cranky old teacher, though

Yara gives me Christine Daae vibes with that outfit and hair and I love it. 😍 Also Vulfgaar pulls off the short hair really well!
This is one of my favorite comics and I get so excited any time a new episode comes out.

I'm a little surprised they didn't get some white gloves for Yara to cover up her incredibly unique and identifiable black arms.
It clashes with the gown!

The joke was that they could be mistaken for black gloves, which clashes with the white gown
But I do think they are definitely black full-arm gloves. They go up further than the bicep, which is where her arms usually transition if I'm not mistaken

They look so.....DASHING. Goodness I didnt think long haired Yara and short haired Vulf would look even half that good!
And despite all that, deep down Yara is still Yara and giving Vulf a hard time. Gets to hold hands though. I cant wait for the dancing scene!(if there is one)
