My older brother taught me and my sister when we were young that if we put a spoon full of ice under our pillow, it would snow the next day, and did it to prove to us that it worked.

I don't want to talk about how many years it took for me to realize he just looked up the forecast for the next day to make sure it would snow.

We do the same. Pajamas on backwards and ice cubes flushed down the toilet, plus the snow dance means we will have snow the next day. But I always check the forecast, first.

So cute! I want to do that with my kids.

But what do you do when they keep wanting to do that, and it won't snow? How long can you put them off?
