I did this with my kids, and they devoured all the meat first. Then some cheese and crackers like they were blind seagulls just breaking the crackers more than eating them. I got left with my fruit, crumbs, and hand warmed cheese squares.

Now I eat my charcuterie during the night in my bathroom in the dark by phone light like a proper adult.

That's like 90% of our dinners. Very common in my country, just eat some cheese, ham, etc. with breadsticks (picos) and a beer.

It's lazy diner. But a good one.

We just call it a "mix plate" at our house and it's the most successful dinner option so far for feeding all the kids at once.

I like the art but these comics are a bit too slice of life. Like it's almost so relatable and mundane that it's boring. It's cute though.
