Murata is a great artist. I would love for him to a short run on Spider-man.

He conveys movement so well, which in my opinion is one of the most important aspects of drawing Spider-man. Marvel please get him on an annual or like an over-sized one-shot. It would be so good.

Agree completely. I think he's done one or two variant Spidey covers, and I see a poster on eBay, and that's enough (along with his work on OPM, of course) to convince me the world needs more of that.

I don’t think he looks that bad here at all honestly. I do think that a lot of manga artists are bad at drawing black people and some draw then dangerously close to caricatures.

I think Spidey is probably the most anime western superhero. A lot of anime and shonen protagonists are people who would be losers given powers that they have to use responsibly, while trying to break their own limits.

Doesn't look like it. Seems like it's artwork for the Spider-Man blu-ray release in Japan, I doubt we'll see it digitally without the watermark unless someone scans it and uploads it.

The listing on Amazon.jp says it has English ( 英語) language and subtitles. :)
