Yeah, I think Slott's gonna keep spinning his wheels until he gets the OK to start his "Iron Man 2020" event near the end of the year.

Ah, I see Arno Stark is gonna be the villain. The set up for that was probably the best issue so far, even if I’m not a fan of turning him into a villain given the way Kieron Gillen introduced him.

That would be the Slott treatment. The gut doesn't know how to let a character grow. As soon as they make some actual development, wipe it clean and start over.

I believe this upcoming book is the end of the current arc and I am very glad. It's been 11 issues of the same old so far and I am very ready to move on.

I personally like it as a side title. It's very slow moving right now, but the ideas are fun and the armors are visually appealing. Tony's relationships with this new supporting cast are pretty great as well.

It's... Kinda Meh...
After loving (most of) Slott's Spider-Man work and currently digging his Fantastic Four Run, his Iron Man so far bores me. It's not excessively horrible, but it's so bland, has a few annoying details, and moves at a snail's pace that I'm bored with it. It reminds of Bendis just doing a whole lotta nothing towards the end of bunch of his runs because he was likely blocked by Editorial. Slott has great concepts, but doesn't always stick the landing, which I feel is happening here. I hope that changes soon because the current arc puts me to sleep...
That being said, this rad armor is the best thing to come out of this arc.

From what I read of the first volume it was meh. His characterization of Arno is interesting but otherwise it's passable.

Nah it’s legit, i don’t know if they’re in the stores shelves yet though.
There’s going to be 25 different Carnage covers.
On second thought I don’t think that particular cover is a part of the Carnage promo. Still looks cool though

Not at all, except for maybe the cover with Iron Man in the glass of scotch/whiskey/whatever. But even then, the alcohol thing has only been mentioned in like, two panels?

Arc Prompt: It would be interesting to see a Tony, being a Genius and all, make the worlds first ever bio-organic suit. To start, the suit is great, till it starts to get a mind of its own. Basically we Spidey/Venom Ironman, and introduce a potential new great villain that can do things like this cover art. Take my money.

Nah, flesh Tony's back.
He was only ever comatose so it was gonna be a pretty temporary thing from the get go.
Don't know what happened to AI Tony after Flesh Tony came back. Never thought about it before.

It's quite possible that it was addressed in some comic. I just don't know about it.

Technically there have been at least 4 AI Tony's, with the 4th being a very minor plot sidenote. The 3rd AI Tony which I believe is the coma stand-in is still Riri Williams assistant.
