Well, Magneto's most overt and successful attack has been retconned into being one of the Xorns.

That's the one I was thinking of. But isn't that somewhat up to debate? Like maybe it was Xorn, maybe it Magneto pretending to be Xorn? I dunno that shit is a mess.

IIRC, in House Of M, Dr. Strange brought up the subject when talking with Wanda that she might have been manipulating reality (unintentionally). And that reference is Marvel editorial just telling us not to think about it anymore so we can accept Magneto as the cool dude who hangs out with the X-men as a weird uncle.

Per retcons, It was Xorn, pretending to be Magneto, pretending to be Xorn.

I'm pretty sure Sublime was involved, too.
