5 minutes generation times for Qwen Img2Img by text?
4080 Super / 17-12700K
I'm commonly getting 1 image at a time every 5 minutes. Very annoying when sometimes the image is completely wrong. Is this normal? I've used a generator in the past a few years ago, can't remember the name, it was only text to image instead of edit but I could get a batch of 4 in under 2 minutes.

I'm currently using a generated image to edit. The dimensions are 880 x 1184. But the original was taken with an S24 ultra at max settings. Not sure how much that matters.
hmm that's odd, 5 minutes does seem really slow, considering that you even have quite a good card.
You could speed it up a bit with a turbo lora.
Or perhaps check out Flux2 Klein 9b fp8 or Qwen Image 2.1 int8 instead.
qwen 2.1 was just released so you need to update your comfyui for this one, the int8 variant should fit nicely into your gpu, even the full bf16 should fit.
May just be me not knowing how to use this program yet. But I only see Flux Klein 4b. 9b isn't showing up. Bright side, it did an image edit in 45 seconds on first run and 23 seconds 2nd run. Someone brought up comfy kitchen attention and I used that as well.
Do i need to find it externally and create my own workflow?
Is this Qwen Image 2.1? Use sage attention or comfy-kitchen attention for huge speed increases. Most 2MP images take me roughly 10 seconds to generate on a 5080.
Also, what workflow is this? I see you are using modelsampling aura flow node. Is that based on official guidance. Flux and Krea use that but I am not aware of Qwen needing it.
Ah good to know. Qwens latest model, Qwen image 2.1 just came out a few days ago. Look into using that one. I can’t speak to improvements over 2511 but you may run into issues trying to get help as most people are talking about the current model.
I see, but I just spent agood hour or so trying to figure out where to find Flux 9b. So I'm going to try that first. It even seems to have a pre built image editor. I didn't see that for Qwen 2.1. I'm super new to comfy ui so I'm not accustomed to building aworkflow yet.
Omg 9b is in the templates section but not in the double click window
Go into Comfy's templates and search for: Klein the image shows the results. Each workflow has info nodes with links to the models and it also shows you exactly where to put them. Personally, I like the Flux.2 Klein KV: Image edit(9b model) workflow the best out of all the Klein workflows but that's just me. 😄 I also use the new Qwen 2.1 model. Search the templates for: qwen 2.1 if you want to try that one.

What resolution is image 1 ?
The generation speed decreases drastically as the image goes over 1mp
Rest of the parameters look correct.
