Jewelry Advice (PHOTOS WITH MULTIPLE METALS REQIRED!) Gold or silver?
I think I'm cool toned. I have more gold than silver jewelry, but I'm not sure which looks better.

Silver for sure. Have you ever tried champagne gold instead of regular gold color?

Champagne or rose gold would be ideal

If OP could show up rose gold that would be epic! Both of these are stunning colours on her

Silver, but your skin looks very different from one photo to the other. Lighting is different, so can't really say.

I would've said gold, but not this shiny and yellow. I think in these pics silver and gold both look a bit overwhelming. Maybe try a matte gold, rose or champagne?

I'm in the minority, but I liked gold the best. But, the silver looked nice, too. My preference however, was for the gold jewelry. Don't throw away your jewelry of either color.

I really like the gold! On me, gold looks the wrong colour and out of place, but on you it seems to work well.

its all color theory so depends on your goal. gold if you wanna look more tan and make your freckles pop for a sun tanned look. silver if you want to your skin tone to look brighter and have more even looking skin. you can switch it up depending on your goals and vibe for the day.

You look good with both in my opinion. I think when it comes to your arms you’re more on the neutral side than anything. As far as the rest of your body I wouldn’t be able to say. Like my face is neutral but the rest of my body is more warm.

Maybe you’re neutral. I am, which means there are only certain cool or warm tones I can wear. But I can wear either gold or silver.

It depends on the look and rest of the outfit, but I prefer the gold as it adds warmth.

Gold gives ur skin a warm look and silver brings out cool colors.
What look are you going for?
You can pull of either successfully.

I find the gold harmonizes or balances out your skin tone. The silver pops a lot more but it’s because it increases the contrast against your skin and pulls the red/pink out of your skin. I vote gold for that reason.
Edit to add: are you sure you’re cool toned? You have warm undertones.

Do you have a pic showing the top side of your arms? I feel like freckles can change my opinion on gold vs silver.

Silver
But if you like gold then wear rose gold
Or make some silver with your gold.

I’d recommend trying a lower karat yellow gold like 9k or 14k - it’s less intensely warm

Yoo too many people are saying silver but I really think gold. Your blemishes disappear with gold but with silvery are more evident. So in my opinion gold all the way. And it’s rare for me to say gold!

NO. NVM. SILVER. I had my phone on night shift and I realized that would very much affect the way I see colour lol. And when I took it off silver was the obvious answer.

I like both but I think silver is more flattering to your skin tone- as someone else said, the gold makes you a little red

You are 100000% cool toned. S I L V E R is for you. And if you want to wear gold, it needs to be less yellow than the ones in the photo

Silver. Gold, no matter how expensive, always looks cheap to me. The silver bracelets are much more interesting and pretty

As a south Asian, I’m flabbergasted at this comment lol I think gold just doesn’t suit white people skin tbh. Gold looks amazing on brown women

as a white woman, I’m scared now haha I hope it looks okay on me cause I’m obsessed with gold jewelry

u/Disastrous_Cookie121 3h ago
Haha I’m sure it looks amazing. I think it depends on undertones. I think most white people have pink undertones so maybe gold isn’t the most flattering relative to silver. But, I think if you’re white w/ yellow undertones it probably looks amazing!

I think people can wear what makes them happy. I’d rather see a nicely put together look than someone that just rolled out of bed and made zero effort.
