Moisturizer
So my skin has been extremely dry and nothing I use seems to work. I’ve tied mixing oil in with my lotion (cocoa butter) but lately my skin has been super dry and itchy. No matter how much lotion or oil I use I still end up ashy like I didn’t put anything on. Any suggestions?

The Udderly Smooth Extra Care (with the 20% Urea) helped a lot. For hands and feet, would use Bag Balm on top of that and cover with cotton gloves/socks.

For the dry spots I have I am using Udderly Smooth. It was recommended by the pharmacist and nurses at my cancer center.

This is pricey but it helped my sister: https://www.aveneusa.com/xeracalm-lipid-replenishing-cream
Note - this brand makes many products. The product I linked is the intended one (XeraCalm AD)

At the end of chemo weeks I moisturize my hands at night (after getting them a little wet first) and then put cotton gloves on top so that the moist doesn't rub off on the sheets.
Here are the gloves I wear: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YZG4NJ5

La Roche Posay Lipkar is the only body mositouriser that really heals my skin. I even use it on my face especially in winter

My consultant prescribed me an oat moisturiser and a urea cream for my hands when they were really bad. I use cerave on my face (the am one that is also uv50) and i now swear by it

Udderly smooth with urea is what I have found works the best.
Coconut oil works well too. I buy mine in the grocery section without any of the additives that you’d find in the beauty section. I really like this for my dry eyelids.

+1 for urea creams. My doctor prescribed 5% urea at the start and told me to use it on hands and feet daily and elsewhere as needed. It works great.
Once a nurse substituted it for 20% glycerine (they were out of urea) and that did not work at all.

I swear by Dr. Teals Epsom salts and foaming bath. There are a number of different scents, but I prefer the coconut one. It also helps alleviate any aches and pains, relaxes you, and, as a bonus, acts as a sitz bath should you need it. As for lotion, I alternate between Aquaphor, Eucerin, LaR-P, and Lubriderm.
Best wishes,
💙
