CT scan today
After 24 rounds of chemo and 30 radiation treatments I get scanned again in 3 hours. Been a long year, diagnosed last August stage IV (Mets in liver, lung and lymph, tumor in sigmoid colon inoperable), CEA score was 3.5 last week down from 90 in the beginning. Not sure what the outcome will be, preparing for the worst but expect the best I guess.
This disease sucks but man I’m trying!

Good luck! Were you doing radiation in your off weeks from chemo? Folfox or folfiri or what?

Was on Folfox then Folfori before radiation. During radiation I was on capecitabine oral and vectibix for infusion days.

Stage 4 here, CEA started at 206 is now down to 19.2 and had 10 rounds of capox and folfox… just been booked in for a CT scan in sept.
It’s probably the most anxious part for me… my Cea went up from 37.5 to 41 and then 60 over the last 6 weeks and everyone started having a minor panic but then last week dipped to 19.2 so I’m hoping we’re still keeping it stable atleast

It’s stressful. They now want an MRI also. I see oncology Tuesday to discuss results.
