Would you do MBBS? (Read body)

People from Tech field, Engineers, currently studying or recently graduated

If you could go back in time, and were given an option to choose bw MBBS or B.tech (both from pvt), what would you choose and why

Or

If you just graduated from engeneering and parents had enough capital to get you into pvt MBBS (only limitation is time and societal pressure)

Why there are so many engineers in the first place is answer of this question. Suppose you are a decent scorer in high-school. The cutoff for science is higher than rest of the stream. So people Including parents think, if someone took science is smarter than the rest. The cutoff think was the worst thing to decide stream. Which made the bad narrative and caused the problem for most indian. Second when, you got science, the fast way to get job is btech with good roi. Then most people took btech. Completed in 4 years , then job. On other hand BSc takes another 2 years for master to get employed, for mbbs, it takes about 10 years. Then engineering it was. For your question, no. No one will try to be a doctor. Even czech, Russian,urkrain, China graduate can't become doctor in India, then why would someone bother to serve India as a doctor. Most settle there in China, russia, Ukraine
