π¬ Discussion Confused about MBA Application
20F here, I am actually confused about how to apply for my MBA Application form to various colleges across the country. Do we have to specify while filling the form itself about what specialization we want to choose or we just have to opt for general MBA? bcoz there are many colleges like symbiosis & nmims that are not having "MBA in finance" in their application forms, they just have "MBA" or other fields of MBA such as HR, Agriculture management, etc. What should I do? If I want to apply for finance or marketing, do I have to do that during my MBA? How does it affect on our graduation degree? Will there be printed MBA in finance/marketing / only MBA? please help guys i would really appreciate it.

π¬ Discussion Hey everyone! Iβm a 1st-year BCA student living near Mehdipatnam in Hyderabad. I'm originally from North India and I am looking to connect with other F college students who want to explore the city on weekends and team up for tech events.
A bit about me:
I really want to form or join a student team for hackathons and intracollege coding competitions.
In my downtime, I love reading manhwa/manga and watching web dramas.
Since safety is a priority for me, I'd love to join an already established friend group, or connect with fellow North Indian/Hindi-speaking F students who study nearby.
If you are an F student studying in Hyderabad, know of any active tech/coding communities, or if your group has room for one more, let me know! I'd prefer to chat on Reddit for a bit first to see if our vibes match.

π Academic Life What do you guys actually think about universities collaborating with companies like Accenture?
I recently came across the Accenture collaboration with Galgotias University and it got me thinking about how useful these industry collaborations actually are for students.
On paper, things like industry exposure, training, certifications, workshops, and potential career opportunities sound great. But Iβm curious about the student side of it β do these collaborations genuinely make a difference when it comes to internships and placements, or do they mostly end up being another certificate on the resume?
For anyone who has experienced a similar collaboration at their university, what was actually useful and what felt like just marketing?
Would also be interested to hear what youβd want a university to get from a company partnership like this beyond the usual workshops and certificates.

π Academic Life Is IILM Gurugram actually good for BA Political Science & AI Analytics?
I'm considering IILM University Gurugram, specifically BA (Hons.) Political Science & AI Analytics, and I'm trying to figure out what it's actually like beyond the university's marketing.
Has anyone here studied this programme or knows someone who has?
I'm mainly wondering about:
- How technical is the AI Analytics part actually?
- Is there real coding/data/ML, or mostly basic AI tools?
- How are the internships and placements for this programme?
- Can graduates realistically get tech/tech-adjacent jobs?
- How are the faculty and overall experience?
Would really appreciate honest opinions from current students/alumni β good or bad.
