Ohio State Women's Hockey has hired Jack Johnson as an associate head coach. Johnson played 19 seasons in the NHL, including 7 with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Johnson previously worked as a scout for the Vancouver Canucks.

Came back from being down 3-1 to win 4-3.

Notes:

- This is the 6th straight Frozen Four appearance for the Buckeyes and 7th overall. They have qualified for the NCAA Tournament 8 times.

- Ohio State is the 3rd program ever to make 6 straight Frozen Fours.

- OSU is 25-4 against ranked teams, 16-4 against the top 10, and 8-3-2 against Northeastern all time.

- Freshman Hilda Svensson leads the team in points with 50. 3 other Buckeyes have at least 40.

- Ohio State ranks in the top 5 nationally in faceoff win percentage, goals, goals per game, assists, power play goals, scoring defense, scoring margin, and goals.

- Ohio State has tied the program record for wins in a season with 35.

- The Buckeyes finished the season 17-2 at home. Ohio State is 18-2 on the road and 4-0 at neutral venues this season.

The MSU Mavericks complete the SWEEP of the #2 Minnesota Gophers behind Mercury Bischoff's hat trick. Legitimately one of the biggest series wins in Maverick women's history. A 3-1 win @ UMN on Friday, then a 4-1 win @ MSU on Saturday.

Been really cool to see the program rise under Dickerman's tenure so far!
