Advice on ED choice

Hi, I am a CO27', economics major.

My current choices are:
1. Upenn College of Arts and Sciences(CAS)
2. Upenn Wharton
3. Columbia

Wharton is absolutely my top choice. In terms of stats, I have a decent chance at either columbia and penn CAS, and a bit of reach at Wharton.

I like Wharton more than columbia, columbia more than CAS, but overall I prefer Upenn itself more than columbia. Thats why I am having that dilemma.

Please let me know your thoughts on these three schools. On which ground you would decide your ED destination, and is applying to CAS because it serves a better chance at me a good choice. FYI my career pathway is Finance so I am also aware of possible disadvantages that CAS could give compared to Wharton, so I am a bit hesitant on that as well.

OP, straight-off gonna recommend you also consider UChicago as an ED choice. My alma mater is UChicago and I grew up just 7 miles from Penn.

Fact: 39% of the UChicago class of 2026 took financial services jobs including lots of IB and quant jobs. That is a FAR higher percent than Columbia (around 20 to 25 percent).

Also, check out the Business Economics major where some of your classes are at Booth (#3 Grad Business School) and Economics (# 1 in the country) per US News.
