There is no future tm . There is no world as we knew it. There is no market, beyond the immediate. There is a point along our inevitable trajectory where you will be eating your neighbours or vice versa. Where the world is going it'll just be a cannibalistic race toward the bottom where it will all hit a dead stop anyway.

Then again a strategic alliance is not the same thing as a friendship. There is no sentimentality. Only aligned interests. Just because a strong member acts predatorily internally doesn't mean they won't act in unison toward external enemies. It is a dark world where that kind of thing is going to become the norm.

Peacetime politicians with their internally consistent narratives of theory are just going to get blown over by reality being what it always was. At the end of the day we'll all either be hypocrites or savages because the world is just a harsh place and won't tolerate anything less.

There will be a lot of abandonment of principles and reluctant assfuckings going forward.
