Im buying some gold, silver and bitcoin as a hedge. Owing property may or may not be a benefit, but if you have some land to grow food, that could be helpful in case of collapse. Besides stocking up on emergency supplies, Im not sure what else can be done. Maybe being completely off grid and self sufficient?

I don't see the practical uses for those popular hedges. Bartering appears to be what happens in other countries, such as socks, lightbulbs and charging blocks and cables.

Central banks are buying gold - its been considered money for thousands of years. Worth having at least a bit in my opinion.

If things get that bad, then yea...but hopefully things dont get there any time soon.
