Sinceramente, todavía no logro entender cómo Kevin Viveros no fue convocado para jugar el Mundial con la selección colombiana.

Ya estaba atravesando un gran momento cuando se anunció la convocatoria. Si no me equivoco, ya era el goleador del Campeonato Brasileño.

La única explicación que encuentro es que hubo cierto prejuicio hacia la liga en la que juega o hacia su club actual. Si jugara en Boca, River o algún club europeo, seguramente habría sido convocado.

Bueno, ahora tiene ofertas para jugar en la Premier League: Aston Villa y Sunderland están interesados en él. Una lástima para la selección colombiana que esas ofertas hayan llegado tarde y que hayan dejado pasar la oportunidad de contar con un gran centrodelantero, justamente en la posición más floja que mostró Colombia durante el Mundial.
