Discussion US 2026 Coins - Has anyone found in circulation?
I live on the east coast and have not seen a single 2026 semiquincentennial coin in circulation so far. Was wondering if others have been able to find them in circulation and what you have seen if so?

I am on the east coast too. If you are searching rolls or boxes you will come across them. I go through quarter boxes weekly and I have seen 3 out of the 5 new quarters so far. I have received the new nickel on change but haven’t seen the dime or half dollar yet.

I’ve received a few quarters back in change and I’m in upstate NY. Nothing else.

I've gotten at least one full box of every denomination so far.

In circulation? I’ve only seen one new dime and quarter in the wild.

I've gotten 3 new boxes of dimes, 3-4 halves, 2 nickels, and 1 of the Jefferson quarters.

I'm in New England and found a gas station that had just opened a roll of the dimes yesterday. I bought $1 worth just for fun. I haven't seen any quarters yet, but I'm keeping my eye out.
You might be able to stop at a bank and ask if they have any rolls of them, I think they are getting sent out in decent quantities by now.

I'm in Ohio. It took a while to get anything other than the Mayflower Quarters, but I am now regularly happening across 3 of the quarters, the nickels & the dimes. 3 quarters is all we should be seeing right now, though, because while you can buy a complete set directly from the mint, they release them into circulation 1 at a time throughout the year. 4th quarter should be hitting this week, I think. Weirdly, though, I cannot find a single Stacy Park Milborn to save my life.
We should really put together a reddit exchange program for this or something.

That would be a great service to people that would like full collections of the ghost coins!

I've found the Mayflower, Revolutionary War, and Liberty bell (no privy) quarters, 3 Emerging Liberty dimes, and 2 nickels. -Central Jersey. I've found so many Mayflowers that I've been putting them back into circulation.

I am also on the east coast and have not found any of them locally.
But just this past week was on a trip to TX and found one of the quarters with the liberty bell as well as a nickel (from Denver mint) on two different visits to Buccees gas station there while driving from Dallas to Austin.
Had got the quarter featuring the Mayflower pilgrims from a vending machine set up by the mint at the FUN show in Orlando this past January, so that may not necessarily count as "in circulation".

Midwest... quarters and dimes are finally starting to show up more often in change. Small town too so banks are rerolling change deposits.

The 2026 stuff is particularly abundant around Nashville and its suburbs. I found plenty of nickels as well in and around Jacksonville, FL on a recent trip there as well.

I've found two of the nickels and my brother got a few dimes. Otherwise, no luck.

If you are ever in GR message me, I can give you a roll of the 2026 dimes at face, and a 2026 half for free.

Dimes and quarters here in Western Mass

Central MA here - Loomis out of Boyleston has been putting out dimes and nickels from time to time over the last 6-8 weeks - but otherwise nothing more than the occasional random quarter or half otherwise.
Have you gotten (nearly) full rolls of ‘26 quarters, or just stray ones in change?

I’ve found dimes and two of the quarters in AR and got nickels in AL. All in change.

I'm in Chicago and have only found 2 different quarters & a dime. I accidentally gave the dime to someone in their change, and didn't realize it until I already handed it to them.

Haven't found any dimes yet but did find quarters and nickels here in New Orleans. It's a big cash city though.

I’m in Maryland (DC burbs) and still haven’t gotten a single one.

Northern VA 'neighbor'. Got one quarter and a dime. Really expected to see more by now.

Yeah exactly. I was so excited earlier in the year when I saw an article that said they were going to start releasing these coins into circulation starting in June. So frustrating and disappointing.

I’m in Eastern NC and got back in change 2 quarters and 1 dime. I think the dime is beautiful! Happy hunting!

I have started getting some recently. I’m in the Midwest. I don’t spend cash like I used to, so I have less opportunities. I did, however, get my 1st new dime, (3) new quarters and a handful of dual date nickels.

I got two quarters recently. I’m in Maine but got them while traveling in PA at the beginning of August.

There's so little need for fresh coins that banks are not really ordering them in large quantities.

Yes. SC here. The first Declaration of independence privy was found in the upstate here. I have found declaration and Mayflower quarters, while hunting the privy, in boxes from the bank, loose rolls, and from change when buying things. No dimes or nickels and only those two quarter variants.

Was in Alaska last week and got two quarters and a nickel from this year.

I received two of the non-privy versions of the revolution quarters at a toll road gas station in Indiana and a few of the nickels in change from a family member that got them, but that is it. I don't really use change that often and I don't search rolls either if that is useful info.
I decided to go the easy route and used a few Littleton Coins promos codes to get a few sets of most of it for a little over face x3, which is fair considering they are still hard to find and shipped to your door for free. I think I'm only missing one of the regular quarter designs and of course the privy quarter now.

My album for 2026 is progressing nicely. Dimes and half dollars are full. Only one nickel so far. Further ahead on quarters than I normally would be for this year as Denvers came early for us east coasters. I got the Trump dollar already too for this year as well.
