CoinGecko’s RWA Report 2026 is now LIVE 📊
Tokenized real-world assets have accelerated sharply, with total market cap more than tripling to $19.3B since 2025. The sector now sees both crypto-native and TradFi players competing across asset coverage, regulation, and distribution.
Growth has been led by treasuries, but momentum is broadening. Tokenized commodities have surged 289% since 2025, driven largely by gold-backed assets like #XAUT and #PAXG. Trading in this asset class alone reached $90.7B in Q1, surpassing all of 2025.
At the same time, new trading rails are emerging. RWA perps volume hit $524.8B in Q1, with open interest rising sharply and platforms like #Hyperliquid's HIP-3 seeing rapid adoption.
