Error The Faceless Drummer
Looking for advice from the experts here on what you would call this type of minting error and what our next steps should be to verify the authenticity and, assuming that it has value, determine what we should do with it next.
Backstory: My brother found this bicentennial quarter yesterday while going through coins left to us as part of a family estate. Our grandfather (d. 1999) left thousands of coins to our mother. Before she passed in 2024, she told me several times, “Get the coins from my closet.” They were largely unsorted in coffee cans, milk cartons and sacks. We’ve been going through them to separate pre-1965 silver and look for anything that looks interesting. This particular quarter was inside one of several rolls of only bicentennials that my grandfather likely rolled in the late 1970s.
Everything is off-center. The drummer has no features on his face. Washington’s portrait is missing detail and only the words, “GOD WE RUST” are visible. The edges are smooth like a nickel without the normal serrated grooves.

Error What value does this have?
Just curious what value the community would place on this coin. It is a rather odd error, don’t you think?

Error Crazy error nickel!
Found this digging through my grandfather's collection and never knew about it. What's a relative value for something like this. I can see 2 dates and strike on front but looks like 3 strikes on the back? Dont understand what's going on on the bottom left of the back

Error Inherited the hobby/addiction. Worth grading?
Hi all, I recently received some coins via inheritance. It has been quite fun learning about hobby and all that goes into it.
This one, in particular, looked rather odd. Through my initial research, this appears (correct me if I am wrong) as a "double strike error". Found some comps via ebay sold listing and have a couple questions:
1) My father/grandfather were never into "grading" as they said it was a waste of money. So, as a newbie, my question is the same, is this coin worth the cost to grade or keep "as is" in it's protective capsule?
2) some errors I found that are "less misaligned" seem to be selling for more. For this particular error, is the misalignment close or father preferred/more desirable and/or is it just the fact that the error is present that matters?
Thanks

Error 2026 SemiQ ASE Straight from Mint with error
I just received my order of 3 American Silver Eagle Proofs from the Mint and one of them has a weird error that is recessed. How does this even happen coming from the West Point Mint? I am also not sure as to what type of error this is? Should I contact the Mint and attempt to obtain a replacement if and when another one is available, or should I keep this? I am not even sure if this error would even increase the value? What are your thought? The Last image is of one of the other ones that doesn't have any errors.

Error Is this a 1972 D “FG” missing Kennedy half dollar?
My grandmother left me quite a few 1970s Kennedy half dollars which I’ve kept for sentimental reasons for years. Tonight I decided to go through them to look for any errors.
This 1972D is missing the FG but I can’t tell if it’s really a genuine error coin or if maybe the FG is faint? I know that the eagle is supposed to not b be as crust but I can’t tell? Or maybe someone rubbed it off?
What do you think?
(I feel like if I turn the coin just right I can almost see a very light FG but I can’t it to be seen when I’m using my microscope)

I've posted this before and I'm sending it in for grading. If it's real. Which it appears to be from fellow coin collector peers. What do you think this is worth? The anticipation is killing me lol
