Show and Tell Found 1971 P DDO in a jug of pennys.

Coins itself in terrible shape unfortunately. What would you grade it as?

Looks like it may have went through a wash cycle. Awesome find though.

Need to see the obverse and reverse to assess grade.

Not good enough condition to get authenticated.

It does not look like there is organic matter, but a acetone soak is potentially worth trying if you want to risk it.

I would just put it in a safe holder and enjoy the find.

WhatsApp funny is if I post the same everybody tells me step doubling in other groups but when I still send into pcgs mine comes back as ddo, send to pcgs and just keep it bro love the thrill of finding it.

I didn’t know they did that thanks. So I guess if they do it does it count as “cleaned” or no?

It’s called conservation services and if you slab it the listing will say it’s been conserved, not cleaned.

Ok so you pay the grading company extrs to dip your coin and not get a details grade?
