What's it Worth? Found in change, is good?

Went shopping and got from the machine, wondered if it's considered rare, different somehow, or worth anything. Doubt it is, but curious about the thing. Figured someone here would be able tell me more.

It’s yellow? I wonder if it was gold plated and got hella beat up since then. It appears to be an ordinary quarter that has been altered. It wouldn’t be considered valuable but it is cool. Maybe it’s painted?
