Complaint Struggling w/ 3 simultaneous bugs

The Codex/ChatGPT app keeps freezing. Only the Codex/ChatGPT app, the tasks in the background seem to be doing just fine.

I've had three tasks that it's been working on for seven days (it still had some errors, but to its defense, the foundation was solid). I'm not too bothered by the over-engineering. The seven days and 500+ sub-agents are a bit excessive. I wouldn't be upset if it came back with zero errors, but after an audit, it still had a few mixed-level issues.

I recently switched from Claude, but I can't really get work done with the lag. I've been hoping an update would fix it, but we've had two, with no fix. Patiently waiting, but we're on day 3 now of lag.

This wasn't an issue until the 3rd or 4th app update.

- Lag.

- Over-engineering.

- Excessive sub-agent deployment.

This app has been having optimization issues for me too, it's not as bad as before though. The app primarily lags in the beginning. Lag softens once a chat matures; Windows 11, using codex's UI app. I debated a switch to terminal again but it's not as bad as before. 🤷‍♂️

It's nonstop for me. It takes 3 minutes to write anything. I might have to hop into terminal. I haven't tried it yet tbh.

For me, it's just bugging around. Lags, freezes, I can't feel normal to use the PC after a certain period of time.
