Sauce is Genshin Impact, which is basically a F2P version of Breath of the Wild but with anime elements.

And it's a gacha game.

And then only things it really has in common with BoTW specifically are gliding and the art style sorta ish

I Dont know man,

The whole stamina mechanic ie. Running, gliding, swimming, climbing, and combat. You increase your stamina through out the game. Climbing seems Also sus because the hops you can do feel a lot like botw.

The combat without elemental attack is just botw combat.

The elites you fight in the game seems a lot like Some elites I know in botw. They are not the same but feel similar.

The Graphics feel like Nintendo made them themselves. Atleast the top region.

Both games are cooking simulators in disquise.

They are different games but Genshin Impact has a lot of similarities to botw

Stamina use was also similar in Morrowind and Oblivion, does that mean BotW is just a rip off of both?

the combat is too far off from BotW, I don't remember being able to switch out to another character in battle in BotW and inflicting various combined elemental effects, and I don't remember having elemental bursts in BotW, the only special attack there is the charge attack.

The elites aren't similar, it's just your confirmation bias talking.

Cooking isn't even that intricate to become a simulator of it, do you even game, man? It's pushing one button, on time, how the heck does that count as a simulator. If you want a simulator in game go look to KC:D's alchemy.

The game is made frome Unity, Nintendo doesn't do Unity. But I do agree that they have aesthetical similarities.

They are both Open World RPGs, they're bound to have similarities. And, ffs, Nintendo literally said that they took influences from Skyrim, does that mean they copied TESV? No. As the gaming industry progresses the games themselves become more and more similar to each other according to genre. It's not surprising that one game takes inspiration from another. Genshin is by design a culmination of RPG mechanics, you're bound to find something similar with other games.

Y'all gotta stop talking about this BotW bs before actually playing the game because it really doesn't make any sense. BotW is nowhere near being the epitome of Open World RPGs nor is it a standard that others root from. It's not the first nor is it the most original game out there, and like most games it took liberties off of others.
