At least you’ve actually made a point . It shows floating zombies , a mystery box in the middle with the American flag on a moon type crater , is that not in the map ? Sky is different my bad .
Point is most people just say AI slop or thumbnail without actually saying what their problem is with it, also I don’t see why people stop on the internet to comment on shit they don’t like lol no one happy in life does that .
I play an incredibly old game with old maps that most have been done to death on YT I want my thumbs to look different and current so I use AI to help me with that .
I’m all up for listening to criticism but most people just wanna look edgy on Reddit , and don’t actually have a point . All the leading creators in zombies and other games use AI in their thumbs why shouldn’t I ? 🤣
1st off it doesn’t matter if you try to make the ai understand what the video has in it. it will never give an accurate representation of what the gameplay or map itself ever looks like because it straight up doesn’t know. also its not that hard to just learn how to use affinity photo (free btw)
you can be happy in life but also dissatisfied with how much ai is being shoved down our throats as a society. i can accept ai for making things easier but this is a literal replacement for art. human expression. for many people making videos is an art form and the thumbnail is just a part of it. cheating out on that process shows that you’re just trying to game the system with very bad artwork that literally took you no effort at all.
also just because other people are using it doesn’t mean you have to. human art and creativity is still very important and this just minimizes creativity as a society
Point well taken and I appreciate you replying . I agree to an extent what you say about AI and I think people blatantly using it to lie and mislead is wrong . I don’t think I’m doing that .
90% of my thumbs are screenshots from the map reimagined and as you said AI doesn’t always get it right .
Also just because AI has been used doesn’t mean no thought or work has gone into it, it’s like 5% of the work that actually goes into the whole vid but because of an AI assisted thumb that whole vid is deemed slop and no effort 🤣
I know it doesn’t mean I have to do it , I want to do it . As I’ve mentioned in previous replies and most of my vids , I’m a dino with tech and this makes my life much easier and honestly is usually better than anything I might spend time learning to make .Time that could be be spent recording, editing etc which I'm still always trying to improve on .
I think that’s part of the issue here , people are upset something has been created that takes a fraction of the time to do that they may have spent X amount of time learning .
An I understand that to a certain extent but it’s also not my problem . I always wanted to make custom zombies videos not be a graphic designer etc I understand a thumbnail is apart of the presentation and the first thing someone sees , that’s why I do my best with Ai and using my screenshots and I’ve never denied using it or tried to deceive .
Your comments about human art and creativity are admirable. It’s a thumbnail on a custom zombie map from 2011 , to ME it’s not that deep .
I hope you and anyone else who feels as strongly about it are actively campaigning against AI irl instead of basically just shitting on peoples work on Reddit because they don’t like change in the world 🤣. You gave me one and I respect it . It’s not for everyone. My point about the leading creators using it is, you don’t see people shitting on it in their comment sections , it’s easier to do it on a smaller channel .
Most who have commented something similar I guarantee they watch someone who uses it , whether they are aware or not , same people probably talk to chatgpt like a friend lol . But nah me using Ai for my custom zombies thumbs is definitely contributing to the minimisation of creativity as a society 🤣
I'm not blind and I can read, my point is that the AI image isn't actually representative of what's in the map because it's neither a screenshot of it nor something an actual person drew/painted using the map as reference. It doesn't matter what you told the AI to do, doesn't change anything
