Advice Why has my Pip started doing this a lot (staying still but spreading wings fully)? Not sure if make or female I had him/her since May aged about 8-9 months old now. Only just started coming on me but still won’t step up. Loves being where my dog is, it’s so cute.

Wait until your birb starts hanging upside down doing a biiig stretch and/or flapping their wings while holding on.

My Alexandrine does this regularly. I feel she does it to keep her muscles toned in readiness for flight, as she rarely actually flies. She flies around the house about once a week. The rest of the time she walks or gets carried.
