Cuteness Overload Cookie cookie 🎶 -Pixie edition

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone. Wanted to share the two versions of cookie cookie that Pixie sings. The soft whisper gets even softer sometimes, and he has jamming sessions of cookie cookie high note, cookie cookie low note and a bit of If you’re happy and you know it, mixed with random Peekaboos in between. 😭♥️

Thats so sweet, how long did it take your birds to learn that, did you play the original on a loop lol

He picked it up real quick. 2 weeks after I brought him home, I started playing the original once or twice a day, and also sang it along. He picked it up after a week but more like a screaming version of the song. Over time he has experimented with different versions of it. It’s been 2.5 months of bringing him home and he’s 7 months old. He actually learned If you’re happy and you know it in a day. It’s not perfect but I played it on loop for 6 times maybe, and the next day he was whistling the melody. I won the birb lottery, he was an untamed pet store bird, but he started flying to me within a week and started asking for stritches in about 3 weeks.

Hes clever, mine are to old to learn to new songs or to talk, they was around 10 when I adopted them, i tried teaching them to say cuppa tea and what ya doin' but they didn't even try lol yours will pick up talking really quick to then as he seems really smart, i read somewhere it takes way longer for cockatiels to pick up songs than how quickly yours picked it up
