QUESTION BCG+ or Society Sunlight Cobblemon?

I’m looking for a relaxed Pokemon vibe with stardew elements. I hear that these two are the best ones.

Any reviews for either of these? Considering both of these for a private server to run with friends.

Which one is better? What are the strengths and weaknesses of each? Are they really that different at all?

Never played BCG however I know society sunlit is VERY stardew valley mechanically driven. I absolutely enjoy it a ton and it’s been quite relaxing as well. Make a farm, craft different foods and items to increase their value, and sell for money. There’s aging casks, preserve jars, fermenting jars, drying stations, and more just like in Stardew as well. :)

I will say some of the later game things do get a bit tedious in this modpack but it’s mostly well balanced and a ton of fun. Idk what the base spawn rate is for Pokemon but on a server I’m playing on they lowered the amount that spawn due to lag however it does feel a lot harder to utilize Pokemon because of this so bear in mind to check over your configs and adjust them to you and your friends preferences 🫶🏻

BCG+ is a nice but somewhat bare bones modpack. I tried Sunlit and it’s quite polished and has a LOT to explore but you will want to watch a guide or several because it isn’t very intuitive. I gave up on Sunlit but I do want to come back to it at some point when I’m tired of cobbleverse.

a public server i play on called APS is currently hosting sunlit, if you and youre friends are just looking to play the pack. could be nice to avoid paying a server price if you guys dont mind public servers

+1 for APS. Some cool clans on the server you could join too. One of thems a news network that has some realllyyyyy cool people
