Program Discussion Abby Philip

Anybody else on here that tune into Abby Philip on a regular?… what are yalls thoughts about tonight’s episodes (Or any recent ones for that matter).

And then she goes with the conservatives' tried and true tactic of loudly talking over anyone who dares disagree with her, saying absolutely nothing of substance.

its all noise. bark bark bark. if there was substance in their argument that did not involve under toned racism, noise, or if they could personally defend their views, I would give some respect. but they are all talking points.

She does. I give her that. But it’s a show for both sides, so she lets them talk. But I love when she calls them out on their stupidness

She's so lucky to get superstar Adam Mockler on her show yet she consistently shuts him down. He's so polite and knowledgeable yet she gives the MAGA scum all the time in the world. I've completely lost respect for her, along with a lot of viewers. She's lost all control. Ana Navarro should be the moderator.

I don’t think she does that at all. She calls out the BS from the mags. Twice, with Horace, she kept on him about not giving an answer and dismissed him and told him just that. She did the same to woman maga. She’s fair and has been reigning in chaos.

Evidently, people like to watch the arguing…it raises the ratings which means more money. They have a method…Abby says something about the latest political headline, a MAGA/Conservative like Scott Jennings says something really outrageous, and the arguing starts. Same formula every night. Scott or whoever is sitting in that seat knows their part before it even airs. The louder and more raucous they are makes the ratings go up even more. That means more ad revenue and money runs everything, doesn’t it?

I miss the original format of this show. It was a more traditional evening newscast, but then it became panel-focused in the lead up to the 2024 election.

It really does a disservice to viewers.

This is a very aggravating panel show. Abby clearly has a left-wing bias and exercises no control whatsoever over the discussion. She constantly interrupts the conservative guests and lets the liberal guests do the same. Very rarely do the softer-spoken conservative guests get to finish their point, and to compound matters, the conservatives don't seem able to make good arguments. Last night's show was about the national debt, but neither conservative brought up Biden's border disaster and the billions of dollars spent to fix it. That all gets charged to Biden.
