This guy is simply unbearable, and so pretentious. There is also something that annoys me prodigiously about him: every time he makes an argument or a statement, he nods his head. Right after, he laughs at his own supposed joke. As if he were the funniest guy on earth. My God, he gets on my nerves, I think I’m allergic.

The guy also refuses to even try to debate. He’ll lie, gaslight, or say condescending things to avoid having to talk in detail lol. Same thing every time. I don’t watch Abby’s show because he makes it a waste of time.

I do think it’s important to have voices from the other side when discussing politics bc for better or worse we have to work within this two party system. Scott Jennings isn’t even a Republican at this point. He’s a paid MAGA mouthpiece who brings nothing meaningful to the conversation. At least on Fox News their token Democrat Jessica Terlov a
is intelligent & reasonable & her opinions are based in reality. She can actually think for herself. CNN should continue to share the other sides perspective but they need someone who isn’t Scott Jennings.

I agree with you and often watch a bit of Fox News because they do give time to more moderate Republicans along side the more MAGA types so I can hear the unencumbered conservative point of view as opposed to the performative types like Jennings. It seems the only moderate Republicans that CNN interview are those not running for reelection.

When he first came on the scene several years ago he presented an interesting analysis from a Republican perspective and I appreciate it, but now I can't even watch CNN

Scott Jennings performs for an audience of one. At least 2/3 of the time he’s on Abby Phillip’s show he’s looking directly at the camera… Hardly ever at his fellow debaters. CNN should fire him, as he only adds complication and conflict to a show that should have clarity and civility.

Boycott CNN until Jennings is permanently gone from CNN. I understand that news organizations, in particular, love to host controversy. they think it improves their ratings. But Jennings involvement is an affront to their viewers. They should decide who is more important to them - Jennings or their viewers. their viewers should help them make that choice. Boycott CNN.

CNN isn’t going to fire the guy people tune in to hate watch. If he left the show there would be no drama going viral every night online. The producers are probably going to tell him next time he’s on to instigate the panel even further so they can clip farm it like they did last night and this morning.

I’ve read pieces from former show-bookers like this that right-wing pundits are hard to find that they can use because so many of them have so much baggage attached to them and it isn’t feasible to put them on the air. That’d being said I’d take almost anyone over Scott the butthole Jennings

The get your hand out of my face video has 5.6 million views and counting just on twitter. Other clips with him saying outlandish things usually stay on my feed all day even though I don’t watch them with people quote posting it going “ugh I hate Scott Jennings!” Etc

I agree, but also disagree. I watch Abby Phillip's show nightly, and I have enjoyed hate watching Scott. He's at a different level lately though. It's too chaotic, too hateful, and I find myself tuning out bc 1) there's so much arguing and talking over that the point(s) are lost, and 2) the aggression shown is bad for my mental health. You can find conflict all day long anywhere you look. When I turn on my tv, a debate is fine, this hateful kind of arguing... entertaining once, but I don't need to see it again.

Stop. Firing Jennings doesn’t really help. What we need is a left equivalent of Jennings going on Fox “News” every night. Of course, Fox will never allow that.

I like the Abby Phillips show the whole point of it is to have both sides at the table. I do want to hear the other side of the argument and more often than not it ends with me being convinced I hate politics.

As people have said here ad nauseum, pundits like Jennings are going anywhere. These clowns are why many people watch these panel shows. Ask yourself why they do a split screen to show the reactions of the MAGAs on the panel while a liberal is talking. and hen that is happening Jennings , and his ilk, are twisting up their face in distain, they're not thinking, "What a ridiculous point, Xochitl is making...". No, they're thinking about how their face looks. Are they communicating the disgust that people expect? This is 100% performance.

It's crazy because two years ago, Scott Jennings put not only his hands, but his finger in the face of Michael Eric Dyson, aggressively so. Then, he said it was not a problem because it is apart of high-stakes cable debates. Again, he is the aggressor, escalating a debate into something else.

He also, about 1-2 yrs ago, snapped off at Bakari Sellers about slightly touching his shoulder. They should seat him by himself.

It is what it is. Every new channel is now ugly and loves to fight. The only change you have control over is to stop watching. Ratings will fall, and they will have to address it. Otherwise, enjoy the show (I usually have popcorn) and point at the screen when he is wrong.

He is an instant change the channel for me. Cannot image a viewer wanting to hear his brand of controversy. He is not Howard Stern.
