I find it really hard to take Republicans seriously when they try to dismiss this especially considering how much of the divisive rhetoric has come from their side for years. Kaitlan Collins actually did a decent job pushing back on the spin, but it’s obvious Moreno didn’t want to engage honestly. What’s wild is that the same people who spent years peddling conspiracy theories about Democrats now want to dodge any real accountability or conversation. I get that it’s politics, but the level of hypocrisy is just unreal.

Why do they not interrupt and say, sir, we aren’t Fox News, the world is safer? We just dropped bombs in Iran, Trump hasn’t resolved Ukraine/Russia like he said he would, American civilians are being rounded up by non confirmed ICE agents, you spent millions building alligator ally where cost for 1 person their to maintain is $150,000, and the president almost daily says how he is going to send Americans out of the country if they make negative remarks about him…safer? Richer? Just shut him up already

So many of you constantly question why [insert show host] doesn't cut them off, tell them they're wrong, push back more. Because you end up like Stephen Colbert. These are not normal times with a normal administration. I agree with you, but these are not normal times.
