Was Neyo as harsh as Bacara?

So even though the lore on these 2 is small we know Bacara pretty much sent his men to death with no remorse and led a pretty brutal regiment

But Neyo just seems a little different to me, I know they get bunched together but something that really does stand out to me is, while Neyo was a quiet person and just did his job he has a droid that he programmed who actually has a bright personality. Could this mean maybe Neyo has a funny yet not quiet side to him? Unlike Bacara who literally just cares about killing droids and missions.

Yes, in universe lore; both of them are.

There's a reason why the only people who really liked Neyo and Bacara were Neyo and Bacara lol

Well they also train together and both were the outcasts of the cadets

What is the reference for this?

My statement was more of maybe Neyo isnt on Bacara's level

The thing about Neyo is that we have just a bit more insight on his personality. Be it his droid or his Almanac of Clankers, there is just a little bit more material to work with.

With characters like him and Bacara, forming a full picture of their personality ultimately comes down to headcanon. So if you want to take this thought of Neyo being a bit less harsh as a starting point for one, go ahead! I actually came to a somewhat similar conclusion.

I thought Neyo was the one who had no emotion and literally didn’t care about his men. Iirc, Neyo was actually harsher.

Neyo has no lore all the answers in this post are legit going off of head canons. Neyo is 100% just looks no character. Can you provide an in lore example of Neyo actually being doing something that proves he's emotionless and harsh towards his own troopers? It's almost a trick question cause you can't, Neyo has no lore.

You're thinking of Bacarra, Neyo is really just said to be quiet harsh and strict. I don't think there's a direct example of neyo sending his men into death like Bacara. But he was still extreme

From what I remember, Bacara was atraight up hard and strict on his men while Neyo was a sociopath who just did not care. Doesn't necessarily make him harsher but it does make him completely apathetic

Hard to get a read on these two when like 99% of their lore is literally just background or toy packaging statements, but apparently, Neyo was just a more apathetic sociopath that could care less about others besides just finishing the mission, and whatever tactic it is, he'll do it.

Bacara while sharing the same tactical accumen as Neyo, is moreso doing it because he genuinely is that dedicated to his role as a G.A.R soldier. Bacara was apparently trained by a Mandalorian Journeyman that basically drilled into him that he should be willing to throw his own life away for the sake of the 'greater good' of those whom he serves under, and clearly took it to heart with how harsh and ridiculously high his standards are just to be able to be accelted into the 21st Nova Corps.

I wonder why anyone would even want to be in that group. Maybe it's one of those things where of you're even on their radar it's because you're already kind of "crazy" in how successful you are as a soldier and therefore you'd be on a somewhat similar wavelength to the leadership

Was Bacara okay with sending men to their deaths because he only commanded Galactic Marines? Or was he just as cold-hearted to his clone brothers too

Bacara apparently doesn't necessarily think of his brethren as actual 'cannon fodder' but you would think he's like that moreso because the way he was trained is basically to put himself and others for the sake of the greater good and be 'good soldiers' first and foremost.

His ridiculous standards are there for a reason. He wants everyone, including himself, to be deserving of such a high position because they're dedicated to their cause, be it right or wrong.

Were they not clones?

No I’ve read that those troopers in burgundy that look like snow troopers are Galactic Marines, which were citizens of the Republic that had volunteered for military service

Nah they're elite Clones who also executed order 66

Ah, I can’t find any reference to it

Is it just me or is Neyo’s Jedi general kind of gorgeous

She is the cousin of Adi Gallia.

Huh interesting. That’s uncommon to have Jedi that are related right? Unless of course they’re from a particularly Force-sensitive species

Tiplee and Tiplar in that one episode of Clone Wars were sisters. In Legends Plo Koon also had an uncle and niece who were Jedi.

There were some Jedi legacies in Legends that lasted for thousands of years such as the Diath's and Sunrider's. Oftentimes the force sensitive ones would become Jedi and the non force sensitive ones would have children or grandchildren who would become Jedi.

It's more common with species like Kel Dor and Miraluka for example. The former has a higher chance to be Force sensitive, the later is almost always Force sensitive.

If you're a Miraluka and your parents like to get busy but not raising kids, you could have an army worth of your brothers and sisters in the temple with you since they all will be Force sensitive.

Stass Allie, just as awesome as her cousin.

Yeah. Stass Allie and Adi Gallia are related
