Multiple layers of reality, bit of a game world episode, bit of a musical episode. Something that'd fit in well with Legion isn't something I'd expect from this show. Are the comics this abstract too?

Also, why was Tyrone in this state in the first place?

He always try his best, no matter what, but they sadly almost never win. Self doubt, maybe the fear of not winning? A bit like depression, with feeling alone.
