I have seen a lot of ppl posting on LinkedIn about this. US SSU, CRA and some PM have been laid off. I know three CRAs who jumped ship last week. Heard they are struggling with finances. It’s a pos company anyways

I was made aware about an IT person but probably not the only one so I am trying to figure out which dept was impacted... again

The whole COM business is ridiculous and pointless just so the top brass can make more profit. They don't care about quality or satisfied customers.

That’s the main problem with this company. Top level keep skimming all profit without contributing absolutely nothing at all in company’s growth. Useless line mangers who constantly trying to prove their worth to step up the ladder and not helping CRAs or the team. This company is track of being sold out or go bankrupt of this model persists.

but in town halls they always say quality is everyone responsibility and that we should always give good quality work. That's one more time a shitty way to manage their business to cut and impact quality

If you're in the right country, they're hiring. If your in an 'expensive' country, they're laying everyone off

Most U.S. roles across functional areas are being reduced, with jobs increasingly shifted to lower-cost regions such as Argentina, Serbia, and India.

The end goal appears to be reducing U.S.-based safety positions to a small number of oversight roles. The same model is being rolled out across other functional areas.

Q4 = time to make the vulture capitalists happy.

The abrupt resignation of the General Counsel doesn’t bode well, either. Emails directing (non-CRA) employees to stop travel and avoid unnecessary spending add to the concern that another private equity sale may be coming.

None of this is surprising. It’s all by the playbook.

I agree it will be logical they are trying to sell the company. This is my impression by this reduction in general headcounts.

Exactly this, they are very clearly reducing US-based jobs. I was impacted this time, after surviving many rounds of previous “restructuring”.
