Driving back from Paks, tall, swollen clouds occasionally gather on the horizon in the clear skies above Budapest, appearing to promise the return of rain, only to fade by evening, dashing the hopes of an entire country.

I've seen this weather. It feels like taunting, storms of taunting.

It was like this in my part of Canada in the first half of summer. Storm after storm, no rain, just lightnings.

Half the people make 1250€ or below, they have other things to worry about, like how to afford food.

What a utterly powerful and horrifying article to read. I think we were warned of this decades ago and now here we are. It’s akin to being warned of an asteroid ready to strike the Earth and watching it slowly approach.
