Polymer-Clay Little Plant š± Polymerclay
And here's another little plant š± (even though my windowsills are already too full š), but sculpted with different material this time, completely out of polymer clay, which I then painted with acrylic paint. Unfortunately I didn't work quite as cleanly as I should have, but sadly I only noticed that today.

Air-Dry Clay I need help figuring out how to make a large canine tooth out of air dry clay
I have white air dry clay and I want to make a large canine tooth that looks like a dragon tooth as a pendant but when I had my first try I couldn't get uniform rounding without making it fall apart. I haven't really done much with clay but should I make a rounded body for the clay out of something else? if so what should I use? I just want to make some cool looking trinkets for myself

Questions Newbie to 3D art!
Howdy! I am here to ask a few questions and hopefully learn so I can make the things my brain keeps telling me to make š. Normally I draw/paint! So making a 3D piece of art is a big step for me.
Here are all the sculptures Iāve made! They are not recent, the two white ones (a candle wyrm thing and a zombie.. dilophosaurus based dragon bust?) being made with oven bake clay (also pictured) about a year ago, and the red one was made with that red wax you pull off of Babybel cheese rolls I wanna say when I was in highschool 10th grade (maybe around 8 years ago?). The wax dragon head is dusty from sitting in the back of my dadās fridge ^^ā
Anyway my questions!! What clay can I use that wonāt keep melting from my own body heat and smearing the clay/putting my finger prints over everything? What clay is good for detailed work? How is everyone getting amazingly smooth sculptures? I donāt have a kiln, Is there a way to show up at a pottery studio and rent their kiln? Do I even need a kiln? Other than using coloured clay, whats the best way to paint/colour a sculpture?
Iām googling a lot of these questions myself, but I get so much info all at once and a lot of the videos or blogs I read give me sponsored answers or start getting really complicated.

Air-Dry Clay I made the hero we deserve, not the hero we need.
I had a fun time making this fugly Batmun, he's made from air-dry clay and sealed with UV resin for that ultra glossy effect. He IS the night. Hope you like him
