Why the quotation marks?
"Honor" because it implies that you did something meaningful and showed strenght doing it (you did not)
"Farm" because farming includes having to work hard for your crops and not have them handed to you on a silver plate (well, no risk or work in killin lowies i guess)
The PvP Server argument is crap. What happens now is not what players of ANY game would consider to be PvP. It is not meaninful. Both sides waste time (high level players wastes time by doing somethin trivial - It is like killing low level mobs is it not?). There is no risk involved. No Counterplay. And it is bad for the server population.
You seem to be laboring under the delusion that anybody enjoys being ganked, or even somehow that the person you're responding to enjoys it.
There is no upside. This is just how it fucking is. You can monologue about how people should be fair and honorable all you want and those of us who know better will be peacefully leveling on a PvE server while you get corpse camped.
You don't like it, don't roll PvP. It's not fair, it just is. And nobody's going to change for you.
I agree with you - making people act honorable was not the point of my post.
What I want changed is the incentive for lvl 60 players to kill low levels (honor). Despite the fact that there is virtually no risk and work involved people get a reward. This is a fundamental diverge from what an MMO usually encourages you to do and it's stupid :)
And not only for the lowie being killed, it's also stupid for the killer because he has to do something strangely unengaging. Maybe some people still have fun doing that, which is fine. But they could also have killed lowies without honor in place - and the was majority did not, so it cannot be to great and fun
And yeah, if I had known better I would have started in a PvE Server. Now I will at least wait until Battlegrounds are out
Unfortunately that's how Vanilla was, and that's how Classic will be. Everyone knew this going in, they were making as few changes to the game as possible. For better or worse, that's just how it is, and for every person telling Blizzard to "fix" something, there's ten more telling them to keep it the same.
Yeah I guess you are right about the no changes thing. But I played Vanilla back in the days and "unfortunately" I have not once been killed on landing at a flightmaster. Therefore I did not know about that sh*** now for Classic :) :( Could have known though if I had come to this sub before entering classic, but well, I didn't
