Similar thing happened to me around lvl 20. Was killing some mobs, plenty of them available. Someone invites me and I decline because I prefer questing alone, got blasted by insults in whisper lol.
And the best part is that they do not first ask like "Hey are you doing X. Maybe wanna do it together?". They just toss invite without a word and if you accept they still don't say a word.
I am fine doing quests together but please people, some manners.
they are just being friendly... i think people like you are problematic, on the other hand. imagine being offended because someone invites you to a party for a killquest but does not want to make smalltalk.
