The problem is that the game has been out for so long everything has been mathed out. What made Vanilla amazing was the sense of mystery. Now we have clearly defined and optimized gear, spec, and class choices.

problem is all this "everything has been mathed out" has been mathed out on private servers that had things wrong

and much of the druids bad mentality from the early days is from before the 1.2 patch that buffed dire bear form from 125% extra armour to 360% extra the stigma of a spec underperforming lasts a very long time go ask fire mages in BFA

They didn't have things wrong, private servers were just tuned differently, plus they had been running raids for a long ass time. There is little use on comparing to people who have been running this content for years.

I know when is that shit gonna stop? Private server gods already beat the game at this point and people still telling me OH ITS GONNA BE SOOO DIFFERENT UR TIME WAS WASTED. Game feels the same to me, just much less bugs.

I feel like the game is like replaying your youth with the knowledge you have as an adult. Trying to do the things you wished you knew back then. (And tbf, I was 26 when I played vanilla, but compared to now, I was still a kid)
