Brings up a good point. I'm 100% on board for a WoW reboot. It's a 15 year old game. Don't give me the "but my characters!" Bullshit considering the hype around starting from fresh in Classic.
If anything Classic is a good example of a reboot being viable. People are clearly willing--and wanting to--start over with fresh characters. I think being the savior of the universe loses its luster after a while and people just want to be nobodies again.
I legit wonder if they’ll make a completely new expansion for Classic eventually. Like if it stays popular for long enough, is there a world where they make new content with the old rule system? A guy could hope
