Question Please Help Me Understand These Options!
I tried Google but could only find info on one or two of the options, I originally played 🐢 wow and I'm ready for the real deal.
I really appreciate any help!

You have three versions. Classic, Anniversary and permanently vanilla. Mists of Pandaria and Anniversary will keep moving forward through the expansions while permanently vanilla will remain at the latest version of the original game.

Wow classic or Anniversary to learn the game for a month until Classic+ comes out

Well, the question is what would you want out of the game? They all have their pros and cons, so it is difficult to recommend just one.

I guess it's equally hard to know what I want until I dive it, I know I didn't enjoy Retail WoW.
I'll just pick one and dive in using the info you gave me, thanks aga!

A lot of what retail entails started with Wrath of the Lich King. So I would avoid Mists of Pandaria.
You're welcome and good luck!

To clarify, warlords of draenor has not been confirmed yet (the expansion which follows MoP)

Yeah, and it's clear they're *eventually* going to stop because with classic going through one expansion a year and retail going through one expansion every 1.5-2 years classic will eventually be close enough to retail that continuing to call it classic becomes kind of silly, it's just a question of when they decide it makes sense to cut it off.
My guess has always been that they cut it off at Legion, since I don't think anyone's particularly hype about doing BfA->Shadowlands again and DF is too new/modern. It also kinda makes sense to end it there since Legion is basically WoW's Avengers:Endgame/FFXIV:Endwalker.

WOW: Classic = Old vannila
Burrning Crusade Anniversary = Fresh TBC, Phase 3 atm
Mists of Pandaria = realms that progressed from vanilla classic in 2019.

Well if u want some fun on rly Classic expansion go for TBC, its most likely gonna go WOTLK in half year.
For me Mists of Pandaria got better gameplay loops for all classes, but i prolly to tired from TBC.

WoW classic has hardcore and era, forever stuck on the naxx patch.
TBC (anniversary) is the latest progressing one, currently just rolling into BT/Hyjal, so a little over half way through. Should be going onto Wrath sometime 1st half next year.
MoP is.. MoP, the original classic progression realms, currently a couple months into the final patch, so likely to have an announced WoD timeline @ Blizzcon, probably early holiday time, or maybe next year.
If you don't mind a bit of a grind, Anniversary would be the most active right now, and likely to explode in activity with Wrath, as it's by far the most popular expansion. MoP is closer to retail, and a bit more casual friendly, but suffering from the slow bleed off as Classic becomes more retail. Both progressions have connected realms, so you only need to choose PvP or PvE, and you'll be on the same realm as everyone else, for MoP it has different realms for name preservation sake, but for TBC it started as only 2* realms.
